Staying married may have long-term benefits. You can elicit much more sympathy from friends over a bad marriage than you ever can from a good divorce. - P. J. O'Rourke

  • Happyhesgone Has anyone read the divorce bible? (That's what they always call it.) It's called "Crazy Time" by Abigail Trafford. It's about your divorce and rebuilding your life. Maybe that might be helpful to someone here. Talks about all those emotions--you know, that rollercoaster ride (and it really is a rollercoaster ride, sometime from one minute to the next). Helps you know you're not going insane especially on those days when you're CONVINCED you're going insane! 10 years ago   *   3 replies
    • Happyhesgone Or any other divorce or relationship books that might have helped you through it all? I just thought of that one because so many have either read it or heard about it from another person in the same situation. 10 years ago

    • dswishe Yes! I actually read this and it really *is* a divorce bible. Anyone considering it, I recommend it. 10 years ago
