Staying married may have long-term benefits. You can elicit much more sympathy from friends over a bad marriage than you ever can from a good divorce. - P. J. O'Rourke

  • Uptownsalsa I divorced twice before turning 30. I'm about to turn 32, and I finally feel more like who I am meant to be. I had a deep and really enjoyable relationship that ended at the first of this year. It upset me more than either divorce. I have zero desire to be close to anyone anytime soon. I am working on myself. 9 years ago   *   4 replies
    • TIMBUKTU Sounds perfect. I became "me" at age 37. 9 years ago
    • KEVIN Hi just wondering how you worked on getting yourself better. My wife left me and my 4 year old so n and I've read all the stuff about staying busy and being the best parent ever but I'm just scared I guess. Any ideas? 9 years ago

        • KEVIN She moved out and her dad bought her a new house. She has a drinking problem that was part of our marriage not working. This is all in less then 30 days, she said she didn't want to be married a week later admitted to sleeping with someone and getting std then moved into a apartment now she has a new home and told me to move on because has found someone new . So in 30 days my wifes admitted to sleeping with 2 people moved out got a new place and we haven't even talked to a lawyer about divorcee. It's all shocking 9 years ago
