  • Ms. Medusa I'm having one of those weeks where nothing seems to be working. Any creative self-care ideas out there? 7 years ago   *   6 replies
    • eloise35 Something in the arts always seems to help make things a little more bearable. Listening to music that I love or splurging and going to a concert, or walking around a museum, creating art myself (even if it is really, really bad poetry.) Something that allows for self-expression. 7 years ago
      • Ms. Medusa Funny you should mention the arts. I went to a concert on Sunday with some fellow musician friends. I sat in the back with my knitting and listened. It helped. 7 years ago
    • TDOG massage at one of the chinese places? bath with bath salts? walking around museum ? 7 years ago
      • Ms. Medusa Massage with manicure and pedicure scheduled for December 3rd. I rule. Football watching with my 79 year old friend and sports enthusiast Ethel. Gym time. Interfaith group movie night. I'll get there, some days are easier than others. 7 years ago
    • TDOG take a dance class or writing or ceramics.... 7 years ago
      • Ms. Medusa Working up my courage to take Tango classes. Another friend recommended blues dancing but I worry the music will send me straight to whiskey and licentiousness. 7 years ago
