Splitsville

Hey kids.

"Shake it loose together! The spotlight's hitting something that's been known to change the weather. We'll kill the fatted calf tonight, so stick around. You're going to hear electric music: solid walls of sound."

These are the opening lines of the immortal epic 'Bennie and the Jets', but they could just as well be a review of the newly completed Splitsville album that we're calling 'Incorporated' (editors note: no fatted calves were harmed during the making of this CD). Here's the final track listing:

We sent the album off to Spain a few weeks ago, which means our label should be getting it any day now. 'Incorporated' is scheduled to come out in Europe and Japan sometime in November: actual release date to be determined. We're going to do our best to make it easy on people in the States to get the CD, so look for future updates regarding this concern.

In the meantime, we're getting some shows lined up in the Baltimore area between Terps games and home construction. It looks like we'll be up in NYC some time in November and at some time we are likely to throw what is known in the business as a "CD Release Party". We'll probably fly to Spain in January for a whirlwind tour, and you can bet that we'd love to hit as many countries as we can while we're across the pond. Whether we do or not probably will depend on things outside of our control, like how many of you buy our CD's. Please don't let us down.
