Hola Pollos!

It's February, and we're freezing our asses off here in Baltimore. Tony keeps threatening to move to Spain, Brandt is threatening to grow a beard (again) and Paul keeps threatening… everyone. But he's nuts, so we ignore him.

Not much has happened with Splitsville since we last updated the site. Our CD The Complete Pet Soul is still a challenge to purchase, but we're working on that. We should have some copies to sell through the website soon, so check frequently for updates. Just remember: time is relative.

Speaking of The Complete Pet Soul, Splitsville received quite a few top-ten 'album of the year' picks in websites and magazines dealing with the pop genre. Thanks to everyone that took the time to recognize the effort we put into it. We'd have links to the sites for you, but:

1. I'm lazy
2.
It seems too self-serving, and we're humble people
3.
That's what search engines are for
4.
I'm lazy

We've been working on a lot of new material, and we're all really excited by the direction the songs are heading. We'll probably start debuting some of them at upcoming shows, so check the tour dates. We've added some pics from Spain and our pre-Christmas 8x10 show to the photo gallery, since that portion of the site was getting a little stale. If we look frigging tired at the 8x10 show, well, you don't know half of it. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be rock gods.

What else… oh yeah, I forgot to mention in the last update that we played a really cool cable TV show called MegaHertz - www.mhznetworks.org - in December. Alan Scott, who's a WHFS DJ and all-around good guy, hosted it. We had a blast, and they sent us videotape of the performance that we really dig. Thanks MegaHertz.

Well, that's enough rambling from me. The February update is complete.

Love,
Matt
