There is no shortage of horror stories about divorce and the family court system. This article brought to us by The New York Times suggests that whether married or not, parents should be able to make their own parenting decisions without interference from the court. It's unclear as to why then this man's case went before the judges but it rings very true that as marriage continues to evolve from the efficient, property-based, socio-economic module it once was, the divorce process must become friendlier to those un-choosing marriage :) .
